Ok back track a bit, went for our monthly haircut together quite some time ago hahaha didn't get a chance to blog about it... Also cos there's nothing much to blog about la~ Just that~~ got to meet *** haha

Today, we went on our long-forgotten food hunting trips~ Haha how i miss those times when we would drive around looking for good food to eat~ So today, Mimi-chan, Mr Huang, Mommy and I went to Geylang Lorong 33 to try the famous claypot rice. Reached there too early and in the end, we had to wait for like half an hour before the food could be served.

Mimi-Chan with the shirt that Mr Huang and Ms Cheung got for him haha with the words "I declared myself MISTER YAYA PAPAYA" Yep glad that you know its Mister Yaya Papaya instead of Ms Mimi-Chan hur hur hur~~
Finally, our food was served. Ok this pic sucks, cos I only remembered to take a picture of it when its half-eaten hahaha~~ I must say.. this dish is probably the best dish we had in this restaurant haha!!
Claypot rice - What we came here for - Highly anticipated, but highly disappointing. The rice was too salty, the chicken meat was not as tender as it should be. And it was expensive! Not worth the money at all >.<

So what's a food hunt if we'd stopped at only one stop?

Decided to drive to Rangoon Road to try the super nice Bak Kut Teh. But to our disappointment, the place was closed when we reached there. Oh well.. Then that means, we'll save our stomach space for..... desserts at PS Cafe~!!

Mimi-Chan drove us to Dempsey Road (with Mr Huang's help in navigating). Had always wanted to try the desserts here. And of course, many other famous restaurants in the Dempsey Cluster. I'm sure this wouldn't be our last trip here hahaha

Mommy~ Hadn't had a chance to really spend time with my mom, so I was quite glad that she was able to join us today in our little adventure haha!! At first she didn't feel like joining us, but good thing I was quite persuasive :P
Banana and.... (peach?) crumble (hehe ok my memory is not really good :P) . Really nice crumble, crispy on the outside, hot and soft on the inside.
Carrot Cake. Hmmm not that fantastic.
Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Rich and chocolatey. The marshmallows serve as a nice blend. Ok sorry for the lousy pic, becos after the first pic, we were told that we cannot take pic of the dessert, but we can take pic WITH the dessert. >.< So behind the dessert was Mr Huang trying to "pose" with the dessert hahaha!!

So... after a fattening evening, I'll be going for a good jog tomorrow morning with Mommy haha time to burn off some fats!

Oh ya, my crazy cousins, you are booked this coming Saturday, for shopping~!! Please make yourselves available on that day!!

Down with fever again.... WHY WHY WHY am I always sick when there's a long weekend!?!?! Only one word to describe - SUAY!!!!!! I HaTe falling sick!! GAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Of course la!! Life is meant to be enjoyed!! And with so many good things and loving people in my life, its a waste not to enjoy it, right? Hahaha!!

Going to start my super long weekend tomorrow~~ On PM off, and took leave on Friday~~ And next Mon is what? Vesak Day!! Yeah!!!

Already in holiday mood liao~~~ And everyone is going overseas! Haish~ How I wish I can travel too >.<

Happie Mothers' Day!!

Happy Mothers' Day (in advance)!!!!!! Being the super duper filial daughters, we brought our dearie mommies to Equinox for Sunday brunch!! And being the super duper broke daughters, we couldn't afford the "special rates" on the actual Mothers' Day. Hence, we decided to bring forward the celebration one week earlier hur hur hur~~!!

So... as usual, the Soh family was late!! Actually i was late too la hehe :P but i wasn't as late as them!!!

After the super filling brunch, we headed to Marina Square... Well, we WANTED to go to marina square, but we ended up spending more than an hour (shopping along the way), before arriving at our destination haha

Happy Birthday Lao Gui~~~ Went out yesterday night to celebrate Adrian's birthday. Bought a watch for him haha and Eve and I had a wonderful idea of giving him a "fake gift" in the form of a super-duper-cute-pinkish-Hello-Kitty-on-a-swing~~~ Kawaiiiiii~~~~~ Although I did not get a chance to see Adrian's reaction when he saw the fake gift (cos i was on MC), I can still imagine his reaction hahaha~ So... met them for dinner at Sushi Tei. Thanks for the treat, Lao Gui~ Lao Da a.k.a Chong Beng was eyeing all the salmon sashimi hahaha ok lar for our next mahjong session, we'll buy one big slab for you from the supermarket, k? Hahaha!

After dinner, we went to play pool. Thanks to all the hell training from Mimi-Chan, I beat the birthday boy~ Yay~!! And... of course, I lost to the ultimate pool queen - Eve~!!! Hahaha!!

Woke up feeling like shit this morning haish.... So.. I guess i'll spend my precious holiday feeling sick haha hope i'll get well by this Sunday!! The number of people under my reservation keeps increasing - from 12 to 18 to 20 *pengs*
