Ok proof that Yaya is actually saving money - we didn't had our meals at restaurants wor~~ But I still want to try good food~ So~~~ Mimi-chan and I consulted the.... Makansutra!!! hehe~ I had a craving for Bak Kut Teh soooo~~ we went to this coffeeshop at Sims Drive which was rated 5/6 chopsticks in the Makansutra.

And..... totally disappointing meal~!!!
The bak kut teh. The meat was hard and dry, and the soup was really c.m.i.. Although we did finish the soup in the end :P and asked for a refill, the 2nd bowl was super diluted la! Like pepper + plain water!! Yucks!!!

The pig's trotters wasn't too bad~ But I didn't come all the way here for pig's trotters!! The lousy bak kut teh really spoiled everything

I still prefer the one at Rangoon Road, but it closes shop like super early laa~~ *sigh*

After that, we wanted to have our desserts at this place called Icekimo, but to our total disappointment, the place was closed!! Really not our day~

Its our department's D&D tonight!!!!!! I'm sooooo looking forward to it!!!! hehe~~ Although I'm NOT looking forward to the magic performance that Adrian and I have to put up *tremble* well~ Hope that everything goes well~!!!!!! I don't wan to be the joke of the department after today~~!!!!

And everywhere is in xmas mood~!! So early!! Heard that it was to fight the recession haha and ya I totally agree with the "Just Spend, Singaporeans!!" theory~ It's because everyone hold back their money, that's why its worsening our economy~ So~~~ JUST SPEND!!!!

Heee there's this super big xmas tree in Taka~ (Yea the same ol' tree that they use every year) So.... I (literally) pulled Eve over to take pics haha!!

Went for dinner at our new favourite place - Manhattan Fish Market~

Fried Country Mushroom with garlic butter sauce. We loooovvee the sauce lo!!! it really goes well with ANYTHING!!!

And~~ Mimi-Chan and I went to Raffles Grill for dinner~!!!! Supposedly one of the best restaurants in Singapore. Of course I had to try it!!!!! So when I called to reserve seats, I was told that t-shirts, polo tees, and jeans are not allowed haha and I know mimi-chan didn't want to go after hearing that. Imagine he can't wear his basketball shorts - gasp.



The moment we stepped into the restaurant, I can only say that, the atmosphere is.... stifling. The decor and ambience is nice, but... guess we're not so used to such a high class atmosphere hahaha!!

The moment we opened the menu, we were like *gasp* *gasp* *gasp* haha the appetizers are like the price of main courses hahaha!!! In the end both of us settled for this Degustation Menu that costs like $220 per set hurrr~ Mostly cos we can't really decide on what to get haha even with description in english..... I don't know what the dish is!!!!

Complimentary dish - seriously, my favourite dish! Its like truffles puree or sth on this cheesy thing. The moment i put it into my mouth, i can taste the truffles and cream spreading across my tongue, and smell the fragrance of truffles~ really is *heavenly*

Shui2 Jiao3 haha :P really nice shui jiao lo~~ its the kind where the moment you bite on it, the fillings just burst out and fill your whole mouth~

And I LOVE the service there!! 10/10!! Halfway through the dinner, I found a black patch on my spoon *gasp* and so i asked the waiter to change it for me. A short while after, the manager came over and said with a super apologetic face "Ma'am, I'm very very sorry for the spoon" and I was like "its ok~ Its ok~~" and he was like "Noo~~ It's not ok, ma'am~ We're very sorry~~" and I was like "its ok~ Its ok~~" After the dinner, the manager came over again and offered us complimentary wine haha but we turned him down cos we were just TOOOO FUULLLL~~~

Hehe really nice dinner~ And there's this cute waiter who was walking around with a plate of bread hehe~~

So yea~~~ the dinner costed $500+ for 2 (*GASP*) but good thing I got discount card hur hur hur~ See how much we saved~~~~ I'm really on the right track to saving money HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA

Date with Eve and Chong Beng today~~~ Haha lao da you zhuan4 dao4 okay~~ 2 girls accompany you out on Sunday hor~~~~!!! He still dare to say is the both of us zhuan dao *roar* Initially we wanted to go to Crocs Sale at Redhill haha when we reached there, we got a shock loh~~ The queue was really kua zhang!!!!! Sigh in the end, we decided to go to Marina Square instead hur hur~~

So we spent the whole afternoon walking about, trying to burn some fats and make ourselves hungry hahaha!! We tried to find some nice clothes for Lao Da to wear during D&D, in the end, he only likes those that are purple lo!! Can try other colours not~~ Try darker colours laaaaa~~

Went from Marina Square to Suntec to Bugis, and I bought A LOT of food on the way haha!! And I would've bougth more, if Eve hadn't dragged me away or snatched some of the food from my arms and put them back onto the shelves hahaha!! K la I know you're helping me to save money~ Thanks mommie!!

And finally~~~~~ Dinner at Hanabi @ Odeon Towers!!!!! Haha Japanese Buffet = Free flow of sashimi~!!! To satisfy Lao Da's insatiable appetite for sashimiiii~~~~~ Grateful not, lao da?? Always bring you to eat nice food~
